• First President & CEO for the U.S. Green Building Council — guiding the start-up into one of the world’s most influential public/private collaborations. Home of LEED certification system and GreenBuild conference and trade show regularly attracting 25,000 attendees.

• U.S. Assistant Secretary of Energy — directing the nation’s $1 billion portfolio of clean energy technologies and market delivery programs. Key initiatives during her tenure included: Million Solar Roofs; new private capital financing tools; sustainable community center; streamlining nation’s appliance standards; whole building research, EPA partnership on ENERGY STAR.

• State Policy - Director of Oregon’s innovative Department of Energy including oversight of state nuclear and Hanford waste sites; chair of interagency task force on livable communities; asst. director, Missouri statewide legislative and budget office.

• Board Director and Advisor for numerous organizations including: WattzOn/Glynt.ai, Ambassador for C3E (Women for Clean Energy, Education and Empowerment), Green Electronics Council, Pivotal Investments, Equilibrium, Green Building Services, ACORE (American Council on Renewable Energy).
